Persons interested in applying for the Child Care program can call PCHS, INC. toll free at 1-877-946-4211 to determine initial eligibility. Depending on income and service need and family assessment information, families are either directed to schedule a face to face interview or placed on a waiting list. When applying, total monthly gross income for everyone over the age of 18 in the house is considered for all members related to the children needing child care. An appointment is made in the county of residence. The intake specialist will instruct you regarding all documents required to complete the application and determine final eligibility. Households referred by Family Case Workers of their respective Division of Family and Children and Family Resource Agency or Impact Case Worker must have a referral as part of the process.
